Mike Elsass, Artist: An abstract, spiritual painter who uses rusted sheets of steel in his work to represent strength, life’s elements, aging, imperfection and beauty.Elsass was handpicked by internationally-known designer Clodagh to work on the new Miraval Life in Balance Spa.
Margaret Boozer, Artist: Margaret Boozer lives and works in the Washington, DC metro area. She received a BFA in sculpture from Auburn University and an MFA in ceramics from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her work is included in the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Museum of the City of New York, The US Department of State, The Wilson Building Public Art collection and in many private collections. Boozer taught for ten years at the Corcoran College of Art and Design before founding Red Dirt Studio in Mt. Rainier, MD where she directs a ceramics and sculpture seminar. Recent projects include a commissioned installation at the US Embassy in Djibouti and writing a chapter forU. S. Geologic Survey’s Soil and Culture. Recent exhibitions include Swept Away: Dust, Ashes and Dirt at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. She is especially proud of receiving the 2012 Arts Excellence Award from the Prince Georges Arts and Humanities Council at their inaugural Arts Gala Awards.

The 350-square-foot Deborah Lippmann Salon at Miraval Resort & Spa is dedicated to beautifying nails, while promoting overall nail health.The salon features three pedicure chairs with stunning views of the Catalina Mountains and two manicure stations. The Deborah Lippmann-designed treatment menu offers a range of manicures and pedicures to address various nail needs, and each includes a nail and skin health assessment to promote long-lasting nail health. All treatments were developed and taught to Miraval specialists by Deborah Lippmann to deliver a premium nail, hand and foot care experience.
