Miraval welcomes guests who are 14 years of age and older. Guests ages 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Review the activities available to teens in our Teen Supplement Guide.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check-in time is 3 pm but guests may arrive on property as early as 11 am. Lunch is included and opens at 11:30 am. Upon check in, you will be given an orientation and tour of the property.
Check-out time is 11 am and we would be glad to store your luggage at Guest Services should you wish to remain on property until 2 pm. Lunch is included on the day of departure with meal service starting at 11:30 am. Late check-out is based on availability; however, please note that the last complimentary shuttle back to the Tucson International Airport departs at 2 pm from the resort.
COMPLIMENTARY AIRPORT SHUTTLE
Miraval provides complimentary airport shuttle service to/from Tucson International Airport. Please email email@example.com or call 800.815.3949 to share your airline carrier, flight number along with arrival and departure times. You must provide your air travel information at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to utilize the complimentary airport shuttle van.
Upon arrival at the Tucson International Airport, proceed to the baggage claim area and a Miraval driver will be waiting at the bottom of the escalator with a sign showing your name. If you do not see a Miraval driver, please call the resort operator at 520.825.4000.
Departure vans leave at the top of the hour. The last complimentary shuttle departs the resort at 2 pm. Travel time to the airport is approximately 50 minutes so you will be scheduled to depart Miraval two hours before your flight time (for example: if your flight departs Tucson International Airport at 3:10pm, you will leave Miraval on the 1pm shuttle). The afternoon prior to your departure date you will receive a detailed voice mail in your guest room with your departure and luggage pickup time.
If the complimentary shuttle does not meet your needs, private car transportation may be arranged for an additional fee.
SCHEDULING ACTIVITIES, PRIVATE SESSIONS & SPA SERVICES
For maximum availability, we recommend that you schedule your activities, private sessions and spa services at least 3 weeks in advance of your stay. Our Miraval Advisors are available to answer all of your questions at 800.815.3949 Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 5pm. Note: These hours are based on Arizona time. You may also email your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your package includes a nightly resort credit, you may apply it toward any fee-based experience that is notated with an RC symbol. Fee-based experiences without an RC symbol will be an additional cost. All fee-based experiences may be booked prior to arrival by calling 800.815.3949 or during your stay with Guest Services.
When confirming your reservation you will be required to make a two-night deposit. Miraval offers full refunds if cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date. Any cancellation occurring 7 days or fewer prior to arrival, the deposit is forfeited. Special events, workshops and groups may have different cancellation policies.
If you change or cancel an activity, private session or spa service within 4 hours of the start time (except for those noted below), 100% of the experience fee will be charged to your bill.
24 hour notice is required to change or cancel without penalty. If these specialty programs are changed/cancelled within 24 hours of the start time, 100% of the experience fee will be charged to your bill.

CELL PHONE USAGE
In order to maintain the peaceful environment of Miraval, we ask that you limit your cell phone usage to the privacy of your guest room and the courtyard outside of Raindance Pass Boutique. Please keep all mobile devices on “silent” and be mindful of others when using them.
GRATUITIES & TIPPING
Miraval is a non-tipping resort property. We believe a “no tipping” policy is essential to a mindful guest experience. Once you arrive at Miraval, a friendly “thank you” or note on a guest comment card is the best tip you can give and the only one we allow.

Wash and fold service is available daily from 8 am to 5 pm with same day service provided for an additional fee. Laundry bags and slips are located in your guest room closet.
Service animals are the only pets allowed on property. Service animals must be on a leash at all times when outside your guest room. Please inform your Miraval Advisor prior to arrival if you plan to bring a service animal.
Miraval is a smoke-free environment and we ask that you refrain from smoking in your guest room and all public areas. A fee of $375 will be assessed to remove smoke odor found in guest rooms.Villa rentals may be more. As the safety and efficacy of e-cigarettes have not been fully studied, this policy applies to e-cigarettes as well.
TAXES & RESORT FEES
Package rates are exclusive of a 20% resort amenity fee and applicable taxes of approximately 15%. Retail purchases, a la carte food and beverage purchases and other services scheduled in addition to what is included in your package are subject to applicable taxes.
WHAT TO PACK
Arizona is known for its warm sunny days year round with a blanket of coolness in the desert morning and evenings. For maximum comfort we suggest layers of athletic or yoga wear during your day. Evening dining is resort casual and a light wrap or fleece for the cooler desert evening is suggested. All equestrian activities require long pants and closed toed shoes. Challenge activities require tennis shoes. Spa services such as Aqua Zen require a swimsuit and other services such as Thai massage require loose comfortable clothing. It is recommended you bring the following items: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, yoga wear, workout clothing, swimsuit, running and hiking shoes, camera and journal. Check current weather conditions prior to arrival to pack accordingly.
