Explore meandering trails across rolling hills, with occasional brief, steeper sections, and overall gentle elevation gain of 200-300 ft. with distances of 3-5 miles. These hikes are a great introduction to the local Sonoran Desert environment. 2 hours total time.

While our little corner of Arizona is in fact a desert you may have noticed it is a little greener and more interesting than your average desert. In fact, this little pocket of the Sonoran desert boasts one of the highest bio-diversities of flora and fauna in North America. Join staff exercise physiologist, botany enthusiast and general desert rat Andrew Wolf for a walking tour of the Miraval property while learning about the natural beauty and amazing adaptations that the plants and animals of this wonderful place have undergone to survive.
