Explore meandering trails across rolling hills, with occasional brief, steeper sections, and overall gentle elevation gain of 200-300 ft. with distances of 3-5 miles. These hikes are a great introduction to the local Sonoran Desert environment. 2 hours total time.

$15 | Mountain Biking Experience Required. Take your mountain biking to the next level! Apply the skills you learned in Mountain Biking Basics and Mountain Bike Riding Techniques or from your own previous experience to this challenging, 8-13 mile ride. Previous mountain biking experience is required.

$35 | Letting go is a natural theme in Desert Tightrope because you release one rope to reach the next. Finding balance, you repeat the movements through ten ropes, practicing the physical process of moving forward through letting go.

You’ll don a beekeeper suit, complete with gloves and gators, and join Noel at Miraval’s beehives for the truly unique opportunity to view these insects up close and personal and learn more about how they work and survive in today’s world.

$35 | The all-levels climbing class begins with the basics for those new to the sport, and continues to build on skills learned by exploring climbing technique for those with previous experience. From here the focus can shift to movement, footwork and body positioning while integrating breathing, trust, flexibility, balance and fun. All climbers from beginner to advanced will take away a clearer understanding of equipment, knots, and belaying.
The climbing wall is outdoors, so choose weather-appropriate clothing that is comfortable but not too baggy. Wear closed toe shoes for hiking out to the wall; we will provide proper climbing shoes at the wall. Don't forget your Miraval water bottle!

This longer-format class is a great opportunity to step back and think deeper about how we generate stress and how we can orient ourselves to stressors in new and powerful ways. While at Miraval Resort, you'll learn that there are no magic techniques, yet through the development of mindful awareness we teach you how to better regulate the body, guide the mind towards less negative patterns, and balance the emotions. This course blends lecture, discussion, and experiential elements to give guests a firm understanding of mindfulness and how to use it realistically and creatively in their daily life. Learn how the stress phenomenon operates within you and how to apply mindfulness to reduce, manage and master stress responses.

The horse provides assistance as an energetic mirror so that you may identify patterns of learned behavior that either enhance or detract from the quality of life that you experience from one moment to the next. We generally discover that two culprits stand between merely surviving life versus experiencing the “joy of living.” You were not born with these two deterrents known as fear and self-doubt.

A vigorous yoga offering, this dynamic class links breath and movement, stillness and transition, repetition and progression, to offer a practice for yoga enthusiasts, or a fit beginner. Each individual is encouraged to make an honest self-assessment and rest when needed throughout the class; however, beginners are discouraged from taking this class. Classes where we offer more detailed instruction and move a little slower such as Rise and Shine Yoga or Yoga Essentials would be a better option.
