$15 | Start each day with a hike designed for all levels of ability. Explore meandering trails across rolling hills, with occasional brief, steeper sections, and overall gentle elevation gain of 200-300 ft. with distances of 3-5 miles. These hikes are a great introduction to the local Sonoran Desert environment. 2 hours total time.

$35 | Swing and a Prayer is centered on the act of letting go and celebrating life. It is a fun event, reminiscent of being a child on the swing set. It can also matter in a deeper way as the conversation shifts to ideas of letting go of the past and moving forward into new healthier ways of living. Celebrate the joyous release and freedom of letting go of fear as you swing from a height of 35 feet.

You will hear and see the term “Mindfulness” often at Miraval. Mindfulness is a special way of paying attention and a core concept that shapes the Miraval programs and environment. We believe that this way of paying attention enhances our life experience and gives us inner resources for dealing with difficulties as well. We hope all our guests will get a chance to explore this during their stay, and benefit from it long after they depart. This course will go over basic concepts and simple techniques to stimulate mindful awareness in daily life. This is an introduction to the concept, benefit, and practice of present moment awareness. When most people think of the word “desert” they think of the beautiful desolation of the Sahara. While our little corner of Arizona is in fact a desert you may have noticed it is a little greener and more interesting than your average desert. In fact, this little pocket of the Sonoran desert boasts one of the highest bio-diversities of flora and fauna in North America. Join staff exercise physiologist, botany enthusiast and general desert rat Andrew Wolf for a walking tour of the Miraval property while learning about the natural beauty and amazing adaptations that the plants and animals of this wonderful place have undergone to survive.

Breathwork is a wonderful way to lead one into meditation or any physical fitness routine, and can be used to directly address a number of negative habit patterns.
