How Miraval Arizona Held Us Through the Hardest Moments
Two guests share their powerful stories of transformation, connection, and healing through their journeys at Miraval Arizona—where wellness, nature, and inner peace come together to create life-changing experiences.
My step-mom (whom I am very very close with ) was diagnosed with ALS in March of 2024. The one place I had been wanting to travel to so badly was Miraval in Arizona, and within days of her diagnosis, she booked a trip for the two of us.
We spent a week in June on the most beautiful trip, where we connected with nature and our inner and higher selves while disconnecting from the outer world. This was honestly one of the best trips I have ever been on for many reasons, but the intention of the trip and the ability to be present in the moment were something I will forever take with me.
She passed in February 2025 after a brief 11-month battle with the awful disease, and I will always remember our trip to Miraval. I will make it an annual destination to check in with myself and connect with her in all the moments I can. Miraval is truly a special place, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I cannot wait to share it with others as she shared it with me. – Brittany, Miraval Arizona Guest
After being diagnosed with stage 3C triple negative breast cancer when I was 33, I went through so many treatments and surgeries, and it truly took a toll on my wellness overall not just physically but mentally and spiritually.
When I visited Miraval in Arizona I immediately felt a connection to the property. There was such a beautiful energy to the entire experience.
I still have dreams of visiting again and the juice bar. Truly a one of a kind life changing experience. I was able to really grow and find a piece of myself I was missing post cancer. – Kimberly, Miraval Arizona Guest
