Miraval Resorts Partnership with NAMI, the National Alliance of Mental Health
When the world needed it most, mental wellbeing became Miraval Resorts’ primary focus in 2021. Our renewed commitment to elevating mental wellness includes the ongoing development of tools guests can use to re-center their minds and souls, ground them in nature, and boost their spirits.
We are proud to partner with NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a non-profit, grassroots organization providing no-cost advocacy, education, and support to anyone affected by mental illness. Together, the Miraval Resorts and NAMI teams have launched a series of events and programs that aim to highlight the intersection of mindfulness and mental wellbeing, an essential juncture in today’s world.
“Throughout its 25-year history, the Miraval brand has helped countless guests re-center their minds and souls, create balance in their lives, and elevate their spirits,” says Susan Santiago, head of Miraval operations at Hyatt. “We are all experiencing unpredictable, unprecedented events that can make us feel uncertain and out of balance. Our new NAMI partnership strengthens our mission of helping people restore that balance. Together we can help people build resilience and foster peace of mind in any situation.”
This year, our newly created series of 12 complimentary Sensory Journey videos (Listen and watch below) feature autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) techniques. Our Mantras & Meditations collection offers guided meditations created and narrated by award-winning Miraval Resorts specialists.
Miraval’s continued commitment to supporting NAMI throughout 2022 has included direct support and additional philanthropic initiatives to increase mental wellbeing awareness and widen access to helpful resources.

As we approach the holidays, we wish all our readers a season of joy. As we celebrate our festive moments, we hope you can join us in supporting the essential work of organizations like NAMI, who strive tirelessly to educate the public and elevate awareness of mental wellbeing and mindfulness.
