Vegan Snickers Bar

Create this popular sweet treat from Miraval Berkshires to cure your sweet tooth! This twist on traditional Snickers is a healthy and vegan alternative with natural ingredients.

Tools: Small sheet pan (1/4 size) | Mixing bowl | Food Processor



  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground flax seed



  • 12 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 pinch of sea salt


  • Chopped peanuts to cover
  • 2/3 cup dark chocolate


  1. Mix dough ingredients together in a bowl to form a dough.
  2. Press into a quarter sheet pan (spray with nonstick spray) and bake for 15 minutes at 325°F.
  3. Allow cooling completely before finishing.
  4. Process caramel ingredients in a food processor to make a caramel. (Work in batches to achieve the smoothest caramel)
  5. Spread a third of the caramel mixture along the bottom of the baked crust.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts on top of this and then spread the remaining caramel over.
  7. Cover with melted chocolate and freeze before cutting into 1” by 1.5” rectangular pieces (or whatever size you prefer)
